Who We Serve
The K2 Equestrian Center works with children and adults with physical, mental or emotional disabilities or special needs. Equine Assisted Therapy provides a unique experience with unconditional love. This interaction provides an opportunity for physical and emotional growth.
Horses have a way of promoting self-confidence and self-esteem, and motivate the client to interact and grow stronger. When a person becomes empowered and self-confident, this change can be seen in his or her outward demeanor. There is nothing more rewarding than to be a part of this developmental growth.
We work in partnership with a variety of local agencies to provide Equine Assisted Therapy to those with terminal illness, autism, emotional disabilities, mental disabilities, eating disorders, substance abuse, sensory integration disorder, grief, victims of trauma and domestic violence.
